I've tried to make my own website to host my fiction works on Freewebs.com but I figured I'd leav it to the experts. I can't figure out what I'm doing. Can anyone help me make my own website or know of any other website like freewebs.com.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Are you looking for resources to learn how to write websites, such as how to write HTML and the like? If so, check out www.w3schools.com. Or are you trying to find someplace to host what you've already written?

If you want somewhere else to put up your site, try www.2ip.com it is better than freewebs. And, if you want a web builder, try NVU or Dream Weaver.

Ok. Freewebs is a website that has tools to make your own website and they also host it.but it is confusing. Not really confusing but just iritating. I am trying to find something like that but a little more simple. Freewebs isn't really accessible, well it is to some extent. I've also tried google page creater. a little more simple but still iratating.I know of W3schools. I used that alot in my web design class in highschool. I'm not trying to work in HTML but rather, WYSIWYG. what you see is what you get. as another note I hate frontpage. it's too phinicky! I worked that well enough in Page view and made a few changes in HTML view but still it was just annoying and worked with jaws when it wanted to.

Yeah, i agree with the last post. Trying using NVu if your building a website and don't want to bother with HTML. That is a user friendly site building software. Hope it helpss !

I think youwant a web host that can also do page building. Again, try www.2ip.com
Go on to google and type in free web host.

Go to the file manager and upload your page. That's it.
